Counselor Returning Counselor Program Staff Recommendation Form
Counselor High school students in 9th, 10th or 11th grade may apply. There is a weekly stipend offered. Transportation is not provided. Hours are 8:15 am-2:30 pm, Monday -Friday. The dates of camp are June 24-August 1, rain or shine! The role of the counselor is to be certain that all campers are safe, engaged in activities and having fun! If you are committed to service, faith filled and like children, this could be for you. All applicants must complete the application and submit two recommendations. Returning Counselor Students in grades 10 and 11 may apply. All returning counselors must submit an application and one recommendation. No positions are guaranteed! Click here for your application and recommendation forms.
Program Staff Program Staff is responsible for planning and executing the activities for the campers. Each Program Staff is assigned a specific area. Program Areas include music, sports, group games, arts, crafts, storytelling, TEAM and environmental appreciation. Each day of camp is culturally themed, and the program areas reflect the focus of the day. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:15 am-2:30 pm. On Wednesdays, there are staff meetings until 4:00 pm. Young adults who have completed at least one year of college may apply. Program Staff is not restricted to college age students. All adults are invited to apply. Please note that all Program Staff must submit a copy of their PA Criminal Record Check and PA Child Abuse Clearance upon hiring. (remember, this must be updated every 5 years). Everyone over 18 years of age must also have completed the Safe Environment Training of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
