The Archdiocese of Philadelphia will be sending a delegation of young adults ages 21 to 35 to join people from all over the world for the 49^th International Eucharistic Congress in Quebec City, Canada from June 18^th - June 23^rd, 2008.

What is an International Eucharistic Congress?
It is a gathering of the Universal Church to celebrate Jesus living and present
in the Eucharist.  It is a time of prayer, reflection and commitment.

What happens during a Eucharistic Congress?
Every day, a solemn Eucharistic liturgy is celebrated and catechesis is provided to understand the theme of the Congress in greater depth.  Public celebrations include Eucharistic Adoration, procession of the Blessed Sacrament, artistic and cultural activities, a social work for persons in need and youth and young adult events. Well over 20,000 pilgrims are expected to attend.
