Youth for the Eucharist

The Office for Youth and Young Adults sponsors regular opportunities for teens to encounter Christ through Eucharistic Adoration by coordinating the two regional programs described below: Youth for the Eucharist which began in the Montgomery County Vicariate and now also takes place in Bucks County, Chester County, Delaware County and Philadelphia North Vicariates and The Gateway which takes place in the Philadelphia South Vicariate.

Youth for the Eucharist

provides an opportunity for participants to encounter Jesus in the Holy Eucharist through adoration, praise and thanksgiving. The evening consists of Eucharistic Adoration with live music and the opportunity for Confession. Some parishes hosting Youth for the Eucharist end the evening with social time and refreshments. Youth for the Eucharist is free and open to all ages. See the Calendar at the bottom of the page for specific dates and more details.

In Chester County, Youth for the Eucharist is held:
Twice a year, in November & April.

The Gateway @ Our Lady of Lourdes (Philadelphia)

is a first Friday celebration from October-June that is centered around the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The evening begins with Mass, Confession, Adoration, and Sacred Heart Devotion and is followed by a coffee house featuring local talent, dance lessons, and more! The Gateway is free, but all who attend are asked to bring a drink or a snack for the social. See the calendar below for dates and details about The Gateway in upcoming months.
