Young Adult Ministry (YAM)

Young Adult Ministry (YAM) of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia assists parish, college, and Church leaders in helping all single or married young adults (ages 18-35+) throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to live the Gospel message. Through initiatives and trainings, Young Adult Ministry brings a unique perspective and an active response to the Catholic Church on what young adults need and search for in their lives and in their walk with Jesus Christ.

The mission of YAM, as guided by "Sons and Daughters of the Light," has four goals:

1.Connecting young adults with Jesus Christ.
2.Connecting young adults with the Church.
3.Connecting young adults with the mission of the church in the world.
4.Connecting young adults with a peer community.

Vicariate Coordinators are available by appointment to assist all parishes in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in their endeavors to develop effective Young Adult Ministry programs.

The Office for Youth and Young Adults oversees several large diocesan-wide programs for young adults.  Learn more about the various programs by clicking on the links to your left (under submenu).
